Wow, what a great place you sent us to. The flights were spot on time, the hotel was amazing - the people were really friendly, the bed was enormous and the glass toilet was wierd but entertaining. Thanks for everything

Clare & Simon, Derby

"We had a great but exhausting time. Vegas was staggering. We really liked the Tropicana, I especially liked the pool. We had a nightmare there because the Wednesday was non-stop rain from 8am until 6pm which apparently is incredibly rare for Vegas. There were thunderstorms also and this meant our helicopter flight over the Grand Canyon was cancelled at short notice. We were gutted and had no time to rebook but we managed to get a 5am pickup for a small plane over the canyon on the Thursday before we left for Mammoth. We packed so much into Vegas that were were absolutely exhausted from the start!

Our upgraded room at Yosemite View was amazing and Yosemite was our real highlight. We loved it there. We had an amazing brunch at the Ahwahnee Hotel on the Sunday which meant we were late leaving for San Francisco and then we were stung by the car hire for an extra day hire and overnight parking but it was worth it for more time in Yosemite. They also preyed on us when we were tired on arrival in Vegas as you had forewarned and they convinced us to upgrade to a bigger car which we really didn't need. Mammoth was also amazing and I'm so glad we didn't skip that - thanks for the suggestion. We'd like to return there. We arrived very late from Vegas after spending some time exploring Death Valley but we packed a lot into the the next day. We did an 8am horseback trail to one of the lakes, arranged a late check out and had a power nap in our lovely room, then checked out and took the cable car to the top of the mountain where we had lunch. Then we got the shuttle to Devil's Postpile, but didn't have time for Rainbow Falls. I had a lovely swim back at the lodge whilst Simon had another nap in the car then we left for Yosemite going via the Mono Lake Tufa and got to Yosemite just after nightfall.

We struggled to adapt to San Francisco after the serenity of Yosemite and Mammoth. By the time we had adjusted it was time to go again! We had to queue for 90 minutes at the Alamo office in San Francisco to pick up the car but the convertible was amazing! We didn't realise the parking would be so much in LA - the BG charged us $15 per night but we did make good use of the car in LA. The hotel in San Luis Obispo was great and we had a bit of time to chill there. Breakfast was included which was a bonus and the pool/spa were very good. We did a whale watching trip from Morro Bay but saw no whales :-(

It was fantastic and thank you for all of your assistance over the past months arranging it all!"

From Clare & Simon, Cardiff who did a fly drive around California for their honeymoon visiting Las Vegas, Death Valley, Mammoth Lakes, Yosemite, San Francisco, San Luis Obispo, Los Angeles - and driving the Pacific Coast section in a convertible car!

Alasdair & Laura, Leeds

The hotel in Rome was really good - I put a review on Trip Advisor which is here: Spotlessly clean, well serviced rooms with large comfy beds. Ten minute brisk walk from Spanish Steps in nice quiet area where we never felt unsafe at night. There were some bars and restaurants nearby but we didn't try any. Best thing about this hotel was the staff who were extremely friendly and helpful. Restaurant recommendation they gave us was brilliant and we spent a lot of hours in the bar. Momo the barman was particularly fun and interesting to chat to. Brought delicious snacks with all drinks so beware you don't spoil your appetite as they're very hard to resist!! Breakfast was adequate for a quick snack each morning to get you going. All in all this hotel was great value so as long as you don't mind walking a little each morning to get to the heart of the city, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Definitely one to recommend to clients again if they want a good value hotel in Rome.

"Thank you, yes we had a gorgeous time in Madeira. Def the garden island. As for the service I felt it was a very personal and tailored service to suit our individual tastes. I would def recommend you guys.

As for Madiera, well it was gorgeous but def not for the faint hearted. There is no health and safety or disabled access to many sites as it is quite hilly. You need to be quite fit! lol Its also quite expensive as priced the same as the UK but of course you want to eat out and site see so it costs quite a bit. We loved it though, stunning island.

Thank you so much"

"All I can say is that the holiday was fantastic, we really enjoyed Bangkok and the Cape Nidhra hotel was amazing. Overall a great holiday that was made even better by the service received from Top Drawer representative e.g airport and hotel transfers. Many thanks ans once again thankyou for arranging a really good holiday." Helena & Jim, Woking

"Our honeymoon was amazing, everything we hoped it would be and more. Thank you so much for helping us to organise it and for all your advice along the way. The hotel in Bali was amazing we have never stayed anywhere like it before, the staff were so friendly, in fact everyone in Bali was. It is definitely a place I would recommend to anyone and somewhere we will save up to go back to again. It was a perfect place to honeymoon and we met lots of other honeymooning couples. All the trips we had organised as our gift list ran smoothly, pick ups were exactly when they said they would be and perfectly organised. All in all everything was perfect and we will definately be booking through you again and recommending to our friends and family that they do the same. Thanks again." from Helena and Jim, Woking who honeymooned in Bali staying at the Puri Santrian Hotel.

Mike & Lia, Ampthill

"Well....thank you very much for sorting out our honeymoon! We've just got back from a fantastic 10 days :-) I can't speak warmly enough about the Ka ana resort. We received exceptional service that we've never experienced! I highly recommend. The other hotel, Laru Beya, was also pretty good. The meal prices were about half of Ka ana (which was good). The service was good (but about what you'd normally expect i.e. not as good as Ka ana). The comment that I'd make is that the kitchen provided at Laru Beya was exceptional for those wishing to self cater. There was a coffee percolator, a juicer, a massive American style fridge, a very big oven/gas hob and even a dish washer! Tell people that Oct,Nov,Dec are the ideal months for UK travellers to visit - we found the humidity very tough, but those months are dryer and a bit cooler)" from Mike & Lia, Ampthill who honeymooned in Belize.

Clare and David, Oxford

We are now back from our honeymoon and we just wanted to say thank you. We had a fabulous time. Here's how it went:

Iceland - wow, it was really ICE-land, I don't think the temperature went above -5 the whole time we were there!! However, we saw the Northern lights, the golden circle tour was great and the car hire was the best bit. They gave us a Chevrolet Orlando (much bigger than the Citroen c3 listed) it had snow tires and it was fab, we accidently came across a couple of mountain roads but survived and otherwise the main roads were practically deserted. We saw beautiful waterfalls, glaciers, geysirs, black beaches, caves, seals playing just 5 metres in front of us, it was great. The hotel was very nice, they had left a platter of biscuits and chocolates with a congratulations card in the room which was lovely. The only down side was that breakfast wasn't included, but having said that the supermarket next door had a cafe and they did the best chocolate croissants ever!

Katherine & Andrew, London

"My husband and I didn’t have a clue where to go for our honeymoon – we had a budget and knew we wanted sunshine and lovely beaches. You really helped to hone our search and find some of the most amazing destinations and resorts available in our price range. You were always there to answer any queries I had and were extremely helpful. I will definitely be using you again in the future. Thank you so much for helping us choose such an amazing resort to go to for. Galley Bay was fantastic and we shall be writing a good review for them on Trip Advisor. My husband took some amazing shots around the resort so I thought I should send some to you so you can get an idea of just how absolutely amazing it is, but you can’t get a real sense of just how amazing and beautiful it is from these shots! Thank you also for organising the V-lounge too which was very handy – lovely breakfast too! Many thanks and we’ll be sure to come to you again when planning another fantastic holiday." Emily & Henry, London

"I just wanted to get in touch to say what a wonderful honeymoon we had. The hotel you chose was perfect – the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was beautiful and hotel itself it was perfectly situated away from the crowd of tourists but with easy access to everything we needed. The flights and car hire were also ideal and it was so nice to have everything done for us in advance! Lots of friends said how nice to was to be able to contribute to it rather than buying us a traditional gift so all in all a big thank you for everything! Thanks so much for your help"

Heather & Warren, Epping

"The hotel (Veranda Palmar) was excellent. It was small and quite cosy (only 70 rooms, I think) which makes a nice change from the sprawling impersonal hotels that you sometimes get, and was also right on the beach which was amazing! The watersports they offered were good and we ended up going on the (free) snorkelling trip almost every day. The second week was a lot busier guest-wise at the hotel, but I think this has something to with it becoming low season with May, maybe? I can see how in the peak of high season the hotel might seem a little crowded (it seems popular with families too, which might not be everyone's cup of tea) and you might not receive such a personal service from the staff (who couldn't do enough to help us while we were there, though).

We also did lots of activities. We went on a catamaran cruise to Gabriel Island, went horse riding in the Bamboo mountains, and hiking in the Black River Gorges National Park - all of which I can recommend highly!

I hope you find this useful! Please let me know if you want to know anything else."

"Can I just say how tremendously excited we are about our honeymoon. I'd also just like to say how much we have appreciated the services you have provided. The wedding list was top class, allowing us to detail the most eclectic gifts which our guests really enjoyed purchasing. Your organisation of our honeymoon has been the most stress free holiday booking we've ever made. I do hope your companies go from strength to strength." Susannah & Adam, Bedford

Thank you so much for your help with the honeymoon, we had the most amazing time. Everything ran really smoothly from the hire cars turning up on time to the transfers. Gondwana was incredible, we would recommend it to anyone and are already planning on going back in the future. The service there is amazing - we had our own private driver for game drives who also made us bush picnics and bbqs and was always on hand for help. The food was out of this world - there was far too much of it but we tried our hardest. The horse riding safaris were great and the rooms were absolutely lovely. We really don't think you could beat it!

Derwent House was also lovely, it was really quiet and had a lovely pool and great breakfasts and was in a really good location.

Thank you once again for your help in organising our time there, it was really perfect!"

Dinah and Martha, Birmingham

"Morning. I just had to say a big thank you for booking our holiday. What an amazing experience it all was. The hotels were an absolute dream. You really did us proud. Thank you so much. The staff were kind and gracious as we stumbled to speak Spanish. They took care of our every need and shared a joke with us as we came and went each day - only because we kept asking for the wrong door number key and they couldn't work out if we were dyslexic, thieves or stupid! The hotels were both perfectly placed for our needs and the info you gave us made it easy to get to in the first place. We travelled by train to Sitges and found the pool and beach just what we needed after walking around Barcelona for days. There was also a lot of eye candy and high jinx from the rest of the guests. The food was also superb in both hotels. As my trousers still fit I think any extra pounds on due to sangria were marched off in the heat and hills of Spain. I intend to get a recipe book for tapas now! Cheers again for doing all the hard work for us. Lots of love x"

Liam & Lyndsey, Birmingham

"We both had such a thrilling time. The hotels, travel arrangements and staff were incredible. The local reps were knowledgeable, friendly and keen to help. The driver was brilliant too and deserves a special mention. In terms of the hotels – the CGI Earth Experience chain were first class and I would recommend them to anyone. Fabulous places, all different and super experience. Kumarakorum – was a lovely hotel, our villa was fantastic – but did feel a little less at home with them. It felt they were trying too much and in a way resting on their past status. Although the house boat experience, crew and boat itself was a true highlight. Windermere was a fabulous hotel, relaxing and enjoyable. Overall a lovely holiday all round – even managed to persuade Emirates to upgrade us for Cochin – Dubai!" November 2010 from Liam and Lyndsey, Birmingham who did a tailor made tour around the Kerala region of Southern India.

Katherine & Andrew, London

"We had a lovely holiday, although not that relaxing! We were on-the-go all day every day pretty much, but we managed to fit in loads and have a great time. Unfortunately our trip to the grand canyon was cancelled due to weather and road accidents, which was a real shame, but at least it gives us an excuse to go back in the future! We got the money back, so we ended up going shopping with it anyway! All our hotels were great, and all the activities we booked (that we were able to do) were good fun. Really can't thank you enough for helping us book this amazing trip. I'm sure I'll be in touch with you again soon to help book our next holiday! Many thanks." Brett & Kate, Bracknell

"We had an excellent holiday, and a "once in a lifetime" holiday soon became a "we'll be back in a few years time!" holiday. A big Thank You to you guys at Top Drawer, the service provided was excellent and everything was made very easy and we were kept up-to-date with everything. The lounge passes we got were a great idea and certainly made the start of our holiday very relaxing! The service and the passes has certainly made me think about booking our next family holiday through you!  The main reason we liked the look of Top Drawer was the choice of oporators and therefore freedom we had. It reminded me of the old independant Travel Agents you sadly don't see on the high street anymore. I shall certainly be phoning you for qoutes in the future! As for the resort (Meeru), we couldn't fault it at all. It was truely a paradise island, and the quality of service was fantastic. We were made to feel very welcome and there was a relaxed atmosphere amongst the staff, but we were never left wanting and felt truly looked after. I certainly keep recommending it to everyone I speak too! I shall also do the same for Top Drawer. Once again thank you for all your help on making this trip so easy and hasle free." March 2011 from Brett and Kate, Bracknell who visited the Maldives.

Emily & Philip, London

"It has to be said that we had a brilliant holiday not least down to Top Drawer!!! The arrangement between Top and Bottom Drawer is really convenient and just what i wanted. The route that you planned and the hotels that we stayed at were just right although it must be said that we preferred the national parks to the cities!! Thank you for a great level of service and I would definitely recommend your company in future." October 2010 from Emily & Philip, London who did a fly drive around California in a 2 door open top sports car visiting San Francisco, Yosemite, Death Valley and Las Vegas.

Claire & Edward, Belper

"We had a fabulous time on honeymoon.  We stayed at Pimalai for 10 days half board in September and really enjoyed our stay.  The transfer was really easy, we were met at Krabi airport by Pimalai employees in uniforms so they were easy to spot.  We were then taken by Pimalai minibus to the Pimalai private jetty and taken by private boat to Koh Lanta.  At Koh Lanta we were met by another Pimalai employee who took us to the resort by 4x4.  After such a long flight we were really relieved that the transfer was so easy.  Pimalai have they're own reps, ours was called Heike.  She was very helpful and spoke to us every morning at breakfast.

We stayed in one of the deluxe rooms a couple of rows back from the beach.  It wasn't a massive room as we had paid for the most basic level of room.  It was very clean though and well serviced.  There was new complimentary mineral water provided everyday and some days there were fruit and cookies!  You can hire DVDs for free from the reception area and they had a surprisingly large and up to date selection.  Room service was excellent was exactly the same as what you could get in the restaurants.

We ate at Seven Seas restaurant for breakfast every morning as the resort was quiet due to the time of year.  The breakfast selection was excellent with every possible breakfast item included.  There were also freshly made smoothies and champagne on offer every morning and were complimentary!  The pools were all well attending and no sooner had we sat down on the sun loungers than someone had brought us complimentary iced mineral water.  There were plenty of fresh towels and as the resort was quiet there were always loungers available.

The onsight restaurants were not cheap compared to the local restaurants (Same Same etc.) but they were not expensive by UK standards for the quality of the food which was excellent.  We ate in the beach bar most evenings as they have double sun beds you can sit on and watch the sunset with a cocktail and then you can move to a table for dinner.  The beach bar also has happy hour every day 5pm-7pm and it's valid on all cocktails and most beers

We visited the Pimalai spa and I had a facial while my husband had a massage, it was totally relaxing and the staff were fantastic.  The setting for the spa is really relaxing as well and the fact that we were the only ones there made it really special.

Another plus point was that anything you purchased within Pimalai including Spa treatments were charged direct to your room so you actually need to take very little cash as you can pay by credit or debit card when you check out.

My only criticism would be that the bed in the room was possibly a bit hard but that's just a personal preference thing.

It is a quiet place but that was exactly what we wanted for our honeymoon.  The staff are fantastic; so polite but understated at the same time, it makes staying at Pimalai a pleasure.

Thanks for all your help with booking it, we will definitely be recommending you and using you in future!" October 2010, from Claire & Edward, Belper who visited Pimalai in Thailand.

Jane & Guillaume, South Croydon

"We had the most amazing honeymoon thank you, and everything ran really smoothly - I loved the attention to detail and the document wallet you sent us. I will definitely contact you again in the future when we've saved up enough money to go away again, but it really was the holiday of a life time and I would recommend the Casa Del Mar to anyone. Thanks for organising this for us!" January 2011 from Jane & Guillaume, South Croydon who visited Malaysia.

Karen & Simon, Tunbridge Wells

"The holiday was lovely thank you. There was evidence of a lot of damage on our way up to our hotel from the airport (after a hurricane!), and the 4x4's were definitely needed! Once we were in Rodney Bay, there wasn't really much evidence of the hurricane. We found the Top Drawer service to be very helpful and we were kept up to date with information, following the devastation of the hurricane. We would definitely recommend Top Drawer to friends. Thank you for all your help." December 2010 from Karen & Simon, Tunbridge Wells who visited St Lucia very shortly after the hurricane in 2010.
